With over 30 years of experience, Acclaim Salon Founder, Nicole Pangaldi is a female industry pioneer who embodies a strong and fearless entrepreneurial spirit.
I truly believe that the culture of Acclaim Salon comes from the heart and essence of who I am, and my life's work.
I love a personal approach to hair, by exploring visions, textures, and individual hair goals. I love working with hair to make it look beautiful and my guest to feel their best.
Over the many years of my career as a stylist and owner, I have trained with some of the largest and elite companies in the industry to take my skills to a higher level.
Some of the various companies, manufacturers, and education I have completed includes the following but is not limited to only what is listed here. Ecru Academy, Keratin Complex Smoothing System, Toni & Guy Academy, R&CO, Advanced Barbering Education, Keratin Color System, Oligo, Calura, and Lakme Education.
My staff and I believe strongly in education, and using the best products to support our styles, colors, and guests.
Courtney Joy - Master balayage
CourtneyJoy was born and raised in New Jersey and began her career locally. Courtney attended Cosmetology school in Mercer County and began assisting at a salon in Robbinsville, NJ... then was promoted to a stylist and colorist shortly after. Once training with various Hair Care Manufacturers, such as L’Oreal Professional Academy, Redken, Toni&Guy Academy, Milbon USA, RUSK, Bumble & Bumble, Schwartzcof Professional, Wella Professional, Cezzane Professional, Liscio, GOLDWELL Professional, to name a few.
CourtneyJoy became an Educator and Platform Artist for RUSK International. She worked for the company for 6 years both Nationally and Internationally. Courtney has worked NYC Fashion week both spring and fall for many years, some including Monarchy, ARAKS & Mara Hoffman, Mik Cire by Eric Kim, Alexander Herchcovitch, DASH by the Kardashians, Phillip Lim, Kimora Lee Simmons, and various others, while also working on photo shoots, video shoots, and doing hair for Broadway Bares. After a few years working at local salons and gaining experience, while also educating for RUSK, CourtneyJoy made a move.
Courtney made the move to NYC to further her career and plant her feet in the greatest city which she holds so close to her heart. CourtneyJoy apprenticed under some of the most Elite Colorists and Balayage Specialist before being promoted to a Colorist and Balayage Specialist in NYC. Courtney is grateful for all her mentors, experience and knowledge that was passed to her through the years. CourtneyJoy is licensed in both New Jersey and New York State for Cosmetology. Courtney truly believes that your hair is your most powerful accessory, as you wear it everyday.
CourtneyJoy uses her keen eye and creative ability to craft unique looks customized to each clients style and personality. Today Courtney specializes in the Art of Balayage, Color Correction Services, Haircutting and Styling. CourtneyJoy loves creating Sunkissed Beauty within her color as she prides herself in the joy of painting the hair as if you were naturally basking in the sun.
Courtney’s 18 years of experience in the beauty industry, has always prioritized her consultations as she feels that strong communication is the key to success. Her outstanding work ethic, ongoing education, enthusiasm, and passion for the beauty industry allows her to organically connect with clients, understanding their needs and wants, while always giving her professional suggestions, insight and opinions to deliver exceptional results.
We welcome CourtneyJoy back to the area and our salon after spending much of her career in NYC. Courtney is excited to be back and is welcoming all future, past, and present clients back to her chair for Complimentary Consultations and Appointments at Acclaim Salon.

Maritza Perez - Designer stylist
Maritza has been in the salon industry for six years. She is passionate about making her guests feel beautiful and giving them the best experience possible. She listens to her clients vision and executes! Maritza attended Mercer county technical school for two years and earned her cosmetology license, she was awarded an academic achievement scholarship for her outstanding grades. Since finishing school she has continued to learn new techniques in cutting, color, and styling through the Paul Mitchell school. Maritza specializes in highlighting techniques, hair coloring, hair cutting, keratin treatments, waxing, and styling services.
Cristie Sanders - Apprentice
Cristie has been in the salon industry for 2 years. She has been working side by side with the owner Nicole Pangaldi for a year and a half. Cristie is certified in Keratin Treatments, and while working alongside Nicole, she has been partaking in color and cutting classes and earning the trust of Nicole's most loyal guests.
